As a Zonetail Sales Associate, you’ll help drive content revenue.

Businesses that partner with Zonetail come in different shapes and sizes with one common denominator, they want to grow their business but don’t want it to be painful.

So, remove the pain. Your knowledge of how small to medium sized businesses work combined with your digital media knowledge and your strong communication skills shapes how businesses grow. Using your sales communication and relationship-building skills, you provide Zonetail a passionate sales consulting service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of customers and understand how our product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of customers.

Our sales team partners closely with local advertisers to develop mobile digital content to service hotel guests and condominium residents. We’re uniquely situated to help companies grow their business. We advise clients on the Zonetail range of products so they can connect instantly and easily with their audiences.

The primary responsibility of the Sales Associate is to drive and grow new business. You’ll manage business relationships to ensure that our client’s needs are met. This will require you to serve as their advocate within Zonetail while collaborating with other departments to provide simple advertising solutions. You will be responsible for ad content and should possess a working knowledge of graphic design to be able to crop and resize images and write ad copy. This is a client-facing role requiring retail, dining, and entertainment industry expertise, proven business ability and a broad base of industry contacts.

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with the sales team to drive growth with new customers.
  • Develop relationships to serve as a trusted consultant with customers.
  • Understand and convincingly present Zonetail’s products.
  • Manage multiple opportunities and projects.

Minimum qualifications

  • Willing to travel.
  • 2-years experience in advertising sales, account management or client services.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in business development, client relationships and consultative selling, with the ability to deliver results under pressure.
  • Experience working across functions in a small organization using a CRM.
  • Knowledge of and established relationships within the retail industry.
  • Knowledge of advertising in the mobile space.
  • Effective team player, with strong customer service, communication, presentation and creative problem-solving skills.
